Scary!

Wow!... It's been a while since I've posted. I'm afraid I have no excuse except for the busy summer that is upon me. I'm also sad because the computer that had all of my pictures on it is now being repaired so I won't have any pictures for a while. Well, our summer started with quite a scary moment. The kids were taking swimming lessons in Steve and Gina's pool with our long time teacher Stephanie. It was the twin's and Cooper's turn for lessons and Ava and Collin were playing in the shallow end on the steps. Stephanie was out of the water fully dressed. I was on the side chatting with Gina and I thought I was paying such close attention to Ava. I looked up and Ava was in the middle of the pool with just her little panicked face peeking out of the water. I started yelling, "Ava, Ava!." Steph said, "I've got her." and she jumped in the pool fully clothed and grabbed her. Whew!! Way too close! I told her she scared me and asked if she was scared. She said no but she did cling to me for the next 15 minutes and wouldn't talk. I hoped it would really scare her but when it was her turn for her lesson, she jumped right back in. We made Stephanie some cookies and threw in a few Life Savers and Ava colored her a card. She said that was the first time anyone had given her a card for saving them. Let's just say that Ava wore her water wings for the twin's latest swim meet and she will be wearing them at every meet this summer!
