We can't believe out little Hayes is 9 months old. He was 10 days old when the kids started school and I remember thinking that when school got out, he would be 9 months and here it is!! Why didn't the 9 months of pregnancy go just as fast? We love Hayes more and more with each passing day. It is so fun to see his little personality emerging. When he was about 8 1/2 months old he learned how to pull himself up on furniture and cruise around. Ava's bath time has never been the same! He can sense when she is in the bathtub and loves to pull himself up and splash in the water and a toilet with the lid left open is just an open invitation as far as Hayes is concerned. He launched himself into the tub one time... luckily no one (and no water) was in it at the time. If he's anything like Ava, it's only a matter of time. He points and claps and dances when he hears music or when we say, "Dance! Dance! Dance!" Right before he turned 9 months, we started hearing him grind his teeth. We checked, and sure enough, there was a tiny little top tooth. It wasn't alone for long. Soon after he turned 9 months, a second tooth appeared. We can already tell that he'll have the signature "Dunkley gap". Here's his stats from his 9 mo. appt:
19.55 pounds
27.88 inches
18 inch head (he's getting a big head since everyone tells him how cute he is :))
We love you Hayes!
