Long course state '10

The long course state meet was the last three days of July.  The twins did great and they got to swim in several relays too, which are so fun to watch.  The meet was at the pool in Kearns right next to the Olympic speed skating oval.  We left early every morning and got home so late at night, only to turn around and do it the very next day.  We had every weather condition you could think of... extreme heat, rain, hail, and wind but still had a great time.  It's always so great to watch the twins compete - I love it!  During some down time, we went to the speed skating oval where they have a running track.  I went for a run while the rest of the family escaped the heat and Ava helped herself to a gymnastics class there.  It was very cool.  The Japanese and American speed skating teams were there working out.  We also snuck away one afternoon and went to a movie.  Good times!

That's the Olympic Oval in the background.

Cy getting ready for his leg of a relay.
Say just finishing.
Sayer's cute flip-flops that a team mate made for her.
And here are the two other stars of the meet... Ava and Hayes.  What little troopers!  Cute Ava with her pet shops and Hayes just hanging out.  What great kids!
