Thankful!

What a great Thanksgiving!  So much to be thankful for.  Here's Ava in all her Thanksgiving gear from school.  She is so funny.  On Thanksgiving morning, she came up to me and said, "Mom, are we part cowboy?"  I thought about it for two seconds... thought about how I lived in Wyoming for 7 years of my childhood, and thought about, with all our pioneer heritage, surely there was a cowboy or two in there somewhere.  So without reservation, I answered "Yes!  We are part cowboy!"  It made her day.
We spent the day at Larsen's Lodge and we couldn't pass up on putting the great turkey costume to use.  And it's so fitting.
Bonnie had a full knee replacement on the 11th of November.  She had her medical device that bends and stretches her leg so she can get better range of motion and Hayes just thought it was the coolest toy ever.
Playing Headbandz.  Very fun.  You have an object on your head and everyone knows what it is but you.  You can ask yes/no questions to try and guess what you are.  Lots of laughs.
My picky little eater who won't eat anything off of his plate, but has no problem cleaning up after everyone else.  I couldn't be more blessed and I couldn't be more grateful!
I hope that I can express my gratitude to my Heavenly Father for all that I have been given by the way I live my life and the way I treat others.  I have so much to work on, especially in the patience and tolerance department, (Seriously, SO MUCH TO WORK ON), but I hope that I can just keep trying and every day, try to be a better person and especially a better mom and wife.
Grateful!!
