Sayer and Ava had their Spring recital towards the end of June. It was High School Musical. Ava danced a little Hawaiian dance to "Humuhumunikunukuapua'a" and Sayer did a ballet medley to a few of the songs. They did such a great job and had so much fun. My mom, Wendy, Dallin, Kenna, Lydia, Heather and Brooke came to see them perform. The kids couldn't get enough of baby Brooke after the recital. I was so proud of my little dancing queens!

Your blog is so fun! The pictures of the kids are awesome--and I laughed pretty hard over the whole "hi booty" thing too. Your little post about the dancing queens makes me laugh--The other day we were walking through the Repartree Gallery at the mall. There was a weird sculpture of a frog wearing a crown and tutu. It was exactly the same height as Jace. He turned around, saw the frog, and in his loudest voice (in the very quiet store) he said "Look mom! It's a dancing queen!" The store owner said that was the best description he had ever heard for that statue. Tim was only slightly mortified that his boy knew all about dancing queens.
The kids look like they are having a blast Julie! I just read about your Century!!! 80 miles is a lot on your bike. After doing my metric Century I decided that 65 miles was enough - I just don't enjoy being hunched over my bike for HOURS!!! So I doubt (unless I get incredibly fast) which probably won't happen - I'll be lured to doing a full Century - but so glad to hear you are still at it!! No Tri's for me this summer unfortunately :(.....
