Little Red

I had the, um, priviledge of doing the Little Red Riding Hood with my friend Carol. Wow, don't know if I will be doing that ride again... the exquisite pain is still so fresh in my mind. It is a 100 mile bike ride in Cache County with different turn around points. We had to get to a certain point by 11:00 to do the full 100 miles. THANK GOODNESS that Carol had some problems with her bike seat and we missed the cutoff by 15 minutes and only ended up riding 80 miles. Still, the 80 miles was plenty. I could barely walk by the time I was done. David had just done a 190 mile ride the weekend before and he was trying to talk me into doing a 120 mile ride with him in Bryce Canyon the end of July. Before I did Little Red, I told him I would think about it. When I got home from the ride that night, I called to tell him that I would NOT be doing the 120 with him! The food was great, and the ride was so well supported but the pain....
