Happy birthday to my sweet 4 year old baby! Ava had a great birthday this year. Her special day fell on Conference Sunday so we went to Paul and Bonnie's for the traditional chili and apple dumplings and brought some cupcakes for the kids. Then we went to my parent's for more fun. We love Ava so much. She is such a blessing to all of us and I feel especially blessed to be her mom. I really can't imagine my life without her. She makes me laugh hard many times a day. She is brutally honest. Just tonight, we were driving to Paul and Bonnie's and Sayer was sitting right by her. Ava said, "Mom, I smell something bad." Then she said to Sayer, "It's coming from your face!" I said, "Ava, that's not nice." To which she replied, "But it is, mom, it's coming right from her face!" I could go on and on, that is just one example of many... she is such a character. We love you Ava! Thanks for bringing so much joy and happiness to our lives!

I can't believe she's already 4. . . Her comments crack me up! Maybe you should give her some tic tacs to pass out when the "smell comes from someone's face"--love it!
