So last Thursday, I made the kids some smoothies for breakfast. They like to drink them with straws and so the pack of 100 straws was on the counter. I was cleaning up after breakfast and picked up the package of straws by the wrong end and close to 100 straws went flying all over my kitchen. When I am pregnant, the floor seems so far away, but I got them picked up!
A little later on, I was filling up my vitamin case for the entire week. Between my prenatals, baby aspirin, calcium and a few others for an entire week, there are quite a bit of vitamins in my little case. I was reaching to put that back up in the cabinet, it slipped, crashed to the floor, all the compartments opened and all my vitamins were all over the kitchen floor. Back to the floor I went!
Then, not long after, Ava asked for a yogurt. I got in the fridge and moved a brand new tub of cottage cheese out of the way to get her yogurt. Well, you guessed it, the cottage cheese slipped and went crashing to the kitchen floor. I got her yogurt and opened it for her, turned around to start cleaning up the cottage cheese mess, turned back around when I heard Ava say, "Uh-oh", just in time to see her tub of yogurt roll off the kitchen counter. This is all before noon!
I know there's no sense crying over spilled milk (straws, vitamins, cottage cheese, yogurt), but that's exactly what I did... I cried. I called Sean and he laughed. Then I got back on the floor and spent the next 20 minutes cleaning up yogurt and cottage cheese. Sean said this just confirms the pregnancy!

I so feel for you....good thing everyday isn't like that. Ava's shirt is perfect! And what a great way to announce all the fun... Lindsey and I are planning a scrapbook night soon (I hope!) so we'll give ya the details. If it doesn't work out, we'll all just have to go out for salads. YAY for you again!
