Happy Halloween 2010

For Halloween this year, Cy was an inventor (easiest costume ever!), Sayer was Elphaba, Ava was Nessarose (the Wicked Witch of the East) and Hayes was a flying monkey.  For Sayer and Ava's costumes, I found women's clothing that I thought would work and then tailored it down to fit them.  For Sayer's makeup, we googled what type of makeup Elphaba wears in the shows and it is a MAC makeup that we were able to order, so it was the real deal and I have plenty of green makeup for years to come!  Hayes' costume is actually Cy's elephant costume that I made 10 years ago that I just tweeked a little and made him a little jacket, hat and wings.  They were all so happy with their costumes (well, maybe not Hayes) so it was well worth all the time and effort and they all looked so cute!

Even flying monkeys need a little break!
We went up to Dave and Mare's and let the kids go around with the cousins.  It was pouring rain!  Thanks Denny and David for taking all the kids!

These pictures are from the Dunkley Halloween party at Mindi's.  She always makes it so fun for them and they look forward to it every year.  Fun days!
