Cherry Hill

We took our annual Cherry Hill trip with my family. This is how I spent my birthday... swimming with my whole family. Seriously, what more could a girl want. It was a great day and it's definitely my kind of camping... running water, showers, flushing toilets but still being able to be in a tent with my little family so close and hear the crickets chirping. A funny story... last year at Cherry Hill, Sayer was coming out of Danny and Heather's tent and tripped on the tent and fell backwards and caught herself with her arm and hyper extended her elbow. So this year, she packed her own bag, and I was going through it to make sure she had everything she needed for the trip. I had to laugh pretty hard when I stumbled across her Snoopy arm sling from when she broke her arm when she was two, in her bag. You know, just in case she, or any of the other cousins for that matter, just happened to hyper extend their elbows. Ah Peanut, what would we do without her?

I'll never forget Isaac pleading with Lydia under the direction of Uncle Nate. And then, "I tan't say that." And learning that he liked "tuptates" better than "pantates", running with my sisters, Nate sitting on the sidelines, and the peals of laughter from Ava as she road down Cardiac Canyon (or as my Dad kept referring to it as "Cataract Canyon". Thanks Mom and Dad for arranging everything... it was great!

I never knew that about Sayer's little packed bag! I just totally laughed out loud! She even came up to me in the tent (but not coming in) and said she wasn't going to go in our tent this year... lol... cute girl! Danny wants me to add that the "whole gang" picture isn't the "whole gang"... Danny and Brookie are missing... but close enough!
