We were able to go to Lagoon at the end of July for Sean's work. It was so much fun... it just wouldn't seem like summer without Lagoon. Ava was tall enough to go on the Bat and after she rode it (twice), she just kept saying, "I was going crazy fast!!" Cy rode Wicked with me and I'm usually not a screamer, but I just couldn't help myself. I made Sayer ride The Rocket with me and the whole way up she was grabbing my arm, "Mommy, Mommy, Mommy!" I looked over and she had a little tear rolling down her face. Poor child! Nobody will ride the scary rides with me, I can't believe Cy agreed to Wicked. I'm still banking on Ava when she gets tall enough for all the rides, which, at the rate she's going, should be by next summer :)

Lagoon looks like it was a blast! You couldn't get me on most of those rides if you tried. And I'm seriously impressed that you did the "fam relay"--again you couldn't pay me--not to mention I haven't done real swimming for years. Your girls have washcloths, mine have ribbon/scraps of cloth. You can make something out of nothing for all your girlie toys! Your blog is so fun! And since scrapbooking keeps getting away from us, we're just going to have to have a night at Cafe Rio anyway!
