First Day of School!

Ava started her first day of preschool this last week. I took her outside to get the official picture and she couldn't stop doing the "I'm going to preschool" happy dance long enough for me to get a normal shot, so here you go. She did hold still for her teacher though (they usually will obey a complete stranger instead of mom) Look at the poor little bounder in the back, he was struggling. Ava, on the other hand, was happy to see me go and then happy to see me come back and get her. I went to the store while she was gone and suddenly realized I had become one of those moms, the kind you see shopping all by themselves with no kids. Ava is such a fun little buddy that I don't know if I am ready to be one of those moms. On the bright side, she only goes 2 days a week this year so I will have some time to get used to the whole idea.
