40 things I love about Sean

Sean turned 40 on November 10th. He is not really a huge party kind of guy so my parents took us to dinner the weekend before and then we spent his actual birthday at home... so fun! Here is one of my presents to him:

1. He's my best friend.
2. He tells Ava a made-up bedtime story every night.
3. He celebrates my independence and has never held me back.
4. He loved how small our first apartment was so that he could be closer to me.
5. While I was in the hospital this summer, he learned how to do a mean messy-bun.
6. He cleans the house.
7. He is my sounding board.
8. He keeps it clean.
9. He sent me Little Caesar's coupons in Cedar City after our first date.
10. His strong desire to do what's right and his love of the Lord.
11. He gave up a college football (and possibly baseball) career to provide for our family.
12. He realizes that I have some paranoia issues with our kids and he never criticizes or makes me do anything I don't feel comfortable doing.
13. He takes statistics.
14. He is an awesome supportive coach to me and the kids - baseball, swim, dance, triathlon... you name it - he is always there!
15. He cooks.
16. He's practical joker.
17. He makes me laugh.
18. His unwavering faith.
19. He doesn't take himself too seriously.
20. He's a hands on dad.
21. His dedication to our family.
22. He sent me flowers in Cedar City after our first date.
23. He sleeps on the very edge of the bed so our Queen size feels like a California King for me.

25. We are on the complete same page as to how we like our food prepared.
26. He is a diplomat.

33. His favorite movie is "It's a Wonderful Life." So fitting.
34. He is 100% ok with his baldness - no Hair Club For Men for us!
35. He not only finishes my sentences for me... he starts them too.
36. 18 years worth of inside jokes - he gets me.
37. He is a homebody. There is no place he would rather be.
38. He gets hotter and hotter with each passing year.
